In this session, multidisciplinary staff from UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center will share their institution’s experience building a precision medicine program that meets the needs of a health system spanning academic, urban, and rural sites. Speakers will discuss the development of a clinical trial evaluating the impact of additional support for precision medicine. In this trial, a precision medicine navigator and a reflexive expert review of biomarker testing provide clinical decision support, and a decentralized clinical trial model increases involvement at sites that may not have historically participated in clinical research.
